All Is Not Lost
There is really no treatment to reverse the symptoms of dry macular degeneration. That does not mean that you will lose all of your sight completely and totally, though. My grandmother had this issue with her eyes and it was sad to say the least but she managed to get through it okay. The one good thing that it did do and I do not know if you can call this good or not, but, she smoked cigarettes and could not see them to light them so she was basically puffing on an unlit cigarette. We never told her or helped her light them.
